Go Ducks!

Last weekend Charlotte made the trip to Autzen for the first time, I'm sure she will make many more.  She had a great time tailgating then was pretty amazed by all the people.  We made sure to protect her little ears with those lovely rifle range ear-muffs, which made her even more confused since there were tons of people and she couldn't hear them.  But she kept them on while we were in the stadium, which wasn't all that long.  We popped into the beer garden/covered area to let her eat during the first quarter and by the time we were ready to go back in, the Ducks were up by 50 or so.  We never even made it back to our seats, I know we were one of those fans but the game wasn't exactly exciting - Ducks won 72-0.

And then yesterday we headed up to Portland for a housewarming, Ducks v. Tennessee party.  She loved watching the older kids play.  I just takes it all in, almost wanting to be a big kid.  After the party, we headed over to another friend's house to watch the rest of the game.  Char seems to enjoy her time watching football, well I think she really loves watching her Dad get pretty animated about the football game.  Charlotte also got a chance to play with Olivia, 8 months, and Conner, 2 years.  Charlotte and Olivia looked so cute in their little pink Oregon onesies but we couldn't get a cute pic of the two of them together.  It is pretty hard to get a 5 month old and 8 month old to just sit still.

At Candie & Derek's housewarming/Ducks v. Tennessee party, Charlotte was Xander's groupie while he played the drums.  Char wouldn't take her eyes off him!
